I’ve seen so many different answers about this question, I was ordered by court a few years ago to pay off $2,000 in restitution and I barely paid a little off (was struggling to find work due to the felony and it was non violent) years later I received notification that I had a show cause hearing. The case was closed and I didn’t understood why all of a sudden there’s a hearing. What do you exactly do at a hearing like this? Do you go to jail? I need information. Thanks!
