(Update) My cat was kidnapped by a non-profit.

Location: Massachusetts

Hello, I made a post about a non-profit kidnapping my cat and charging us for an emergency vet visit. Good news is me and my mom have returned Binx home, with the help of a family friend who lent us the money. However, this has raised new legal questions I need help with.
During the time between the first post and this one, new shady things were happening in the background of this all. One thing the “Non-profit” was doing was using videos of my cat with a completely different name asking for donations. Which legally I have no idea if there’s anything wrong with that but morally I couldn’t have been more floored by their actions. Another thing that they told was if we brought this to court they as an organization “was not to be mentioned”. None of the documents we signed had a NDA on it, nothing in the website was mentioned either.
So… what do I do now. We are already starting to train Binx to now be an indoor cat only, plus we’re are gonna register him as an owned cat in writing with the city/state. The $900 I can do without, getting it back would be cool because it’s not our money it was a friends, Even though she is an animal lover who was shocked by this “non-profit”. But I don’t want this to happen to anyone in my area again, my mom was left with sleepless nights from crying and worrying about the safety of our cat. I can’t imagine sitting here with all this shady evidence from them and not do anything with it. Any interaction we had with them was recorded, screenshotted, and documented by multiple sources.
Any help would be appreciated on next steps if there are possible steps.
