My sister works as a caretaker for a company. She's currently working as a live in caretaker for a client fresh out of knew surgery for 5 days. She just told me the husband tried to sexually assault her. She has contacted her company and let them know but they said they can't send a replacement until Tuesday (in 2 days). She said she can't leave because she'll be charged with neglect and abandonment of a patient. The home is an apartment with just the elderly couple. The wife is the patient.
Is there any course of action we can take to get her home earlier? I feel like she's in an unsafe situation and I want her out of there ASAP.
