I was raped on the 17 of July and still no updates on the investigation. At the hospital I was given a flyer to utilize the “Safe Homes Act” if I needed.
To my understanding I can use this law to leave my apartment given reasonable notice of my leaving within 3 days of the move. And there will be no repercussions.
I guess my question is, how air tight is this? Can I leave my apartment and move home with no consequences or should I look at re-letting?
I just want to go home and live with my family for a little while.
