Hello, the previous owners of my property had put a fence up. They erected the fence one foot in on our property line so that they could easily mow along the backside of the fence. They had a survey done on our property when they did this. I do not have the paperwork from the survey, but there are notches in the curb in front of our home, and we have located one metal underground stake in the backyard using a metal detector. We cannot locate the other stake because their fence has cut off our access to it. Also if you look at the aerial plot lines you can see that every yard has the same back property line and that our fence is a foot into our property line.
Our neighbor behind us has erected a fence right along our fence line, on my property. I’m looking for the cheapest solution to getting their fence off of my property. This neighbor has a reputation for becoming unhinged when she’s angry, so a simple neighborly conversation won’t fix it.
