She was dropping off her daughter at his house to go to work. I get a call from her that he took the ipad i bought her that was in the back seat thats connected to everything, messages photos accounts. She ran after him and was grabbing at him to get it back and ripped his shirt. No scratches or blood. She called the cops to help her get her ipad back and he called the cops saying she attacked him. When the cops came he lied and said he bought while she showed the receipt of me buying it but they let him keep it and still took her to jail for domestic violence and child endangerment. I bailed her out and we tried to file a police report for the stolen ipad but they said we couldnt because of what happened. The police went with her to retrieve the ipad but said that was all they could do. He went to her job and showed them the report to get her fired and now she's suspended until further notice. I dont think she was wrong at all. What can we even do?
