I wanted to get my girlfriend a Maryland State ID because she needs to move out of her mothers home but doesn't have ANY existing id to get on the plane to her new home. She has a birth certificate, SSN card, but the proof of residency is withheld by her insane mother, and she is a dependent of her mother
Shes in Maryland with just her mother and literally no other family available, has never been to middle or high school, no job, no other official id, no voter registration. Her mother also refuses to take her anywhere for an appointment by just never coming home at all, and would literally do everything in her power to ignore the responsibility of being a parent. I know that you need to bring your dependent to the DMV to justify the proof of residency, especially when you're a dependent of them, but thats just not possible with normal methods.
Is there any way to do it without her mother? Can I just ask the police to force her mother to go with us?
