My cousin Tori is married to a creep, Cris.
In the few times I've been around him, he's acted scummy and creepily.
Tori's sister Rey had a daughter, Rosa, a couple decades ago.
About \~8 years ago, Rosa claimed that Cris abused her as a child, but it had happened 5+ years before she came forward with the allegation.
Earlier today, I learned that Tori and Cris' two adult sons have reported him to CPS, on behalf of their <10yo sister, Penny, but CPS didn't find enough actionable evidence to actually do anything about it.
Tori and Cris deny any such allegations, of course, but we (various other members of the family including myself) have witnessed Tori defend him against even the smallest allegations of wrongdoing, regardless of how much evidence is brought before her.
Example: he stole food from another cousin, and we caught him actively eating it. She claimed he must have made it himself and brought it from home.
Tori nor Cris allow Penny/the rest of the family interact.
I have also heard from another cousin that the reason Cris left his previous job was for sexually harassing a coworker. But this is, of course hearsay.
Is there anything we can do?
Any resources we can use to investigate these allegations other than the very busy CPS?
(I am cognizant of the possibility that the allegations are false. If I had concrete proof I wouldn't be here)
