I am 30F and have always had a rough relationship with my mom and siblings. I went no contact with my mom and one sibling over a year ago. Blocked them on everything after letting my mom know I don’t want any contact. My mom has made multiple attempts to contact me through my fiancé and his family. To the point of harassing them with calls and texts repeatedly. She has been threatening to call the police for a wellness check and today started again out of nowhere saying if she doesn’t speak to me she will report me as a missing person. She knows I am not missing and I have told her multiple times last year when I would unblock her to stop contacting him and his family about me. She also knows I have still been in contact with my other sibling. I thought about filing a protection order but that wouldn’t prevent her from calling the police and worry that it will have my new address on it for her to find out where I moved. I have small children and would like to avoid the police showing up because I don’t want to scare them. I just want the contact attempts to stop and the threats of calling the police if I don’t talk to her. Not sure what to do at this point and would love some legal advice.
