I've been working at a minimum wage job at a fast food place in Las Vegas for a couple of months. I have a manager that really doesn't like me and constantly yells at me. I had a shift with him recently and as usual, he was constantly raging at me, yelling at me, and being extremely rude to me.
While I was serving some customers he started hitting me pretty hard on the back with his hand and even the customers were shocked. He later told me that I was being too slow in making things for the customers. It didn't hurt too much and only stung for maybe around 10 minutes but I was kind of shocked at the disrespect and the fact that I was actually hit at all.
I told my boss that I'm quitting because of this but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do? It was definitely in clear view of the camera we have.
