Manager assaulted me at work (Texas) what are my options?

my manager made an inappropriate comment saying he would “f*** my mom.” I told him not to say that, and he responded by saying we could fight outside. He then grabbed my arm, but I pulled away and continued working.

Later that night around 8:30pm, I was talking with a few coworkers when the same manager suddenly slapped me in the face. I said “that was crazy” and walked outside to calm down, but he followed me while laughing.

At that point I didn’t feel safe continuing my shift, so I clocked out and told him I was leaving because he had just slapped me. Two coworkers witnessed the slap, and one of them also witnessed the earlier comment and him grabbing my arm.

After leaving, I filed a police report, and the manager admitted to what happened. I reported everything to upper management and HR. I was informed the next day that he was fired.

What legal options do I have here in Texas? Can I take action against him individually and/or the company?
