Is this some sort of labor law violation?
HR asked for a signature on a blank sheet of paper, and said I couldn’t have a copy of the resulting signed page. They would not let me have or even see the final paycheck without the signature… and I refused to sign the blank piece of paper.
The whole thing felt super odd. Is there a next step with the employer, should I sign the blank paper, or is this something for a Texas workforce commission complaint?
