My wife was having suicidal ideations last week. On her suggestion, me and her friend took her to a mental hospital. Since her friend's mother worked there we thought she would get great care but after talking to her about what its like there, there are many issues.
Lack of staff
rude staff
group therapy that was not helping at all
her friends mother came in and berated her (wont go into details in public)
staff has said that she doesnt belong there
other patients have said this place makes things worse as they have been in other facilities and this is bar NONE the worst they have been to in terms of care
today is tuesday and we have signed a paper that says she will get out on friday but me and her family want her to get out sooner as this place is only adding to her anxiety and they havent done much to resolve issues. therapist has been great but hes not going to be there after wednesday and they havent told her how shes going to be helped
the clinic said that theres two options to getting her out at this point, court order or waiting until friday.
what kind of lawyer would be needed to get this process done ASAP?
