When I was 14, I spent a weekend at a family friend’s (single dad) house because I was friends with his daughters. After a day in the pool, we took turns showering. At one point I noticed a red light on a shelving unit visible from the shower but thought maybe it was a smoke detector. Later on my friend told me she had seen the same light and inspected it and it was a camera recording the shower. She started investigating and found messages on her dad’s phone talking to other men bragging about having these recordings. This has haunted me for many years and I wanted to know what could be done, if anything, now that I’m an adult.
