"Contract" My Parents want me to sign

Location: Illinois

This is made on a throwaway account as I am unsure of if my parents are aware of my main reddit username.

TL;DR: My parents have presented me with a contract (link at bottom) to mandate certain things as I continue living under my roof. I need help navigating this scenario as they have mentioned being able to fine or evict me for certain infractions.

I am a 28 y/o man currently living with my parents and one of my brothers. I moved back in with them in 2023, at such a time they established that I should work and pay rent or continue studying. I have continued studying and maintained employment with good success and am continuing to work on improving myself so that I do not have to return to my parents' house once I leave again.

I would argue that I am a model "tenant" as I am quiet and fairly clean. I keep my room relatively tidy, though occasionally leave some clothes on the floor, and maintain my personal hygiene very well, including laundry and other things. I typically cook my own food, though I haven't recently, or eat food from restaurants or my job. I have had verbal disputes in the past over attending Mass, as I am an atheist and do not feel that I should be required to attend any form of religious ceremony in order to maintain housing.

The following is a contract that my parents have written and requested for me to sign. They have brought forth this "contract" just last week, and I only received a paper copy a couple days ago. They initially proposed this after "a little birdie" told them that I was viewing Onlyfans content or making "inappropriate" posts on Reddit, which isn't any of their business regardless of whether I have done these things.

I already despise living here. Despite having my own vehicle, making myself very small, and impacting everyone else in the house as little as possible, I am still being restricted in numerous ways. Many of these restrictions are nonsense. The contract mentions I am responsible for my personal space, yet I am not permitted to move my main desktop PC upstairs, for example. They have requested that I keep my door open because I "should have nothing to hide." Similarly, they have requested I keep "normal" sleeping hours, while I maintain that my time should be mine to manage as I see fit, so long as it is not detrimental to my classes or employment (Which it does not). I can understand an argument for maintaining quiet, but I am not often a loud person and am typically doing homework during late hours anyway.

I am exhausted and desperately applying to jobs wherever I can. I have begun being incredibly frugal to save as much money as possible so that I can be prepared to move out at a moment's notice. My parents are not, to me, "safe" people. I don't enjoy spending time with them or being around them. I need help navigating this "contract" so that I can maintain my sanity for as long as I can, until I can manage to leave this hellish house.

My main concerns are the following:

  1. Would a contract like this even be enforceable in any capacity? If it is enforceable, does it enable any sort of protections for me in the same way a legal lease would, such as eviction notices of 30 days for some locations?
  2. Assuming the contract is overall enforceable, does any element fall outside of that? Since the First Amendment mentions freedom to practice religion, including no religion, would that be enforceable? Similarly, would policing the content I view online be legal?
  3. This is technically up for debate and alterations. My parents have given me time to consider it. Assuming it is enforceable, what elements, additions, changes, etc. should I request? What would protect me legally while I live here and help me have some sense of actual privacy?
