Per divorce paperwork ex husband pays child support until child is 18.
Child is now 18. As of August of last year he has not paid child support. I did not go through the child support agency ( stupid me). Everything was fine until August.
Sooo, My Ex had got into a bad car accident, told his 17 yr old child he wanted to kill himself because he didn't know what he was going to do because he didn't have any money. My child came to me 2am freaking out about their father. Asking what can we do to help. The only thing I could think of would be if he didn't pay child support for a bit. Well a bit turned into never again.
Fast forward to now. I'm about to buy him out of the house. Can I request that the funds he didn't pay come out of his portion of the house? Should I get a court order? Should I just tell him it's happening?
