I am a therapist in PA who was recently terminated from my job. During my UC appeal, my former employer added AI transcripts from Zoom of my therapy calls with clients. While I was aware AI trnscribed notes during the calls (which I did not care for but company wanted us to use it to write progress notes), myself nor my clients were never informed that management had indefinite access to these transcripts, as we were told the AI recordings were deleted immediately after the session was transcribed. I would delete summaries after my notes were done so nothing could be breached, but later found out management could access all of these transcripts regardless of the time frame. I do not know if they have access to actual call recordings. I was never informed if any of this until my termination. Are these transcripts legally permissible in my UC appeal or even court?
