I am 7 months pregnant and was recently put on a 8 hour a day restriction. This is due to extreme swelling and inability to walk after long shifts. I had to obtain a restriction after being told I had to work, even if I couldn’t walk.
I work in the medical field. I worked 7am-130pm and was told I had to leave and come in per my CEO at midnight until 6. That is less than 12 hours between shifts. Is this legal? If I argue it I get told it’s my responsibility per my job position to work shifts needing coverage.
